General DescriptionThe Mindfulness in Parenting Scale – Infant Version (MPS-I) is an adaptation of the Portuguese version of the Interpersonal Mindfulness in Parenting Scale (IMPS), which assesses mindful parenting among parents of infants aged between 0 and 12 months. It consists of 28 items rated on a 5-point Likert scale and measures the following five mindful parenting dimensions: Listening with Full Attention, Emotional Awareness of the Child, Compassion for the Child, Self-Regulation in Parenting, and Nonjudgmental Acceptance of Parental Functioning.
